This easy Chicken Pot Pie recipe tastes like homemade but it's with premade pie crusts, frozen vegetables and rotisserie chicken. The homemade savory sauce is gourmet and brings it all together. Freeze one for later

The original recipe came from a 4-H cook book I used to teach my kids from when they were young.      I tweaked it a bit and here you have it – my fabulous version of the original for a fraction of the cost and just as delicious, maybe even more!

ORANGE JULIUS

Ingredients:

12 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate (do not dilute, use frozen from can)

3/4 cup water 1 cup milk

1/3 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp. vanilla extract

15-30 ice cubes ( more or less depending on size) till desired consistency

3-4  Tbl. powdered milk (optional but this addition makes it taste richer)

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until completely smooth.

Serve immediately.

  12. What a great recipe! I have not had one of these in years, lol! Sadly (in this instance only) I currently live in England and they do not have frozen orange juice here. I shall have to find a substitute, lol. I found you via the Sister Bloggers Pin It Tuesday (I am one of the hosts) – so glad I did. Thanks for pinning with us 😉
