What I Believe

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also known as the Mormon Church.

I believe Heavenly Father knows us each individually, as we are His children, and He loves us perfectly. He hears our prayers and answers them, in His own time and way.

I believe in our Savior Jesus Christ. That he overcame death and was resurrected so we can live again; enabling the Plan of Salvation. Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and our Brother.

I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Spirit, that testifies of truth, guides, warns and gives us witness in our heart and mind that Jesus is the Christ and that God lives.

I believe that families can be together forever. And that families are central to God’s plan.

I believe that even when life is hard, the way is difficult, tears flow often, we are never, ever alone. God our Father and Jesus our brother are there by our side. The Holy Spirit can comfort us. If we will but strive to choose the right and do our best to live the commandments and His teachings, we can have a deeper fullness of joy, despite the circumstances we find ourselves.

I believe we are all brothers and sisters and should give all effort to see each other as God’s greatest creations; as each of us are! Every single person, if we could see them as God does, would be more noble and grand than any royalty that has ever graced this planet. It is our duty to respect that quality and do all we can to bring that out in each other.

I believe we all have the God given right to consider other faiths and religions, but never with bigotry or prejudice. My firm foundation is in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You will find a strong Christian influence in my posts and through my blog. I respect all people and faiths who do well and build a people in positive ways.

Sincerely, Carrie
