What a FUN inexpensive, quick and fun for kids and teens to make for friends, or for parents or grandparents to make for a sweet treat to gift.

You could even attach a note that says, “Your Mummy Loves You”  or “From Your Mummy“. 

I have a tutorial to show you how to  make this Mummy so fast and simple you’ll make a bunch in no time at all!

Halloween Sweet Mummy

2 Flat candy bars

1/8 yard ivory or off white broad cloth (it would be much easier to have 1/4 yard if possible to hold when tearing), off white – you will need 2 strips of fabric for each candy bar.

Sticky glue dots

Wiggly eyes

Spider, sticker, note or other items to attach


Cut fabric at 1/2″ with scissorsHalloween Mummies 1

Hold fabric securely in both hands and tear to create torn look on edges of fabric.Halloween Mummies 2Put on sticky glue dot and end of fabric.Halloween Mummies 3Wrap the strip of fabric in a cross-cross fashion to make the mummy look.

Continue wrapping the strip of fabric. Halloween Mummies 4

When the first strip of fabric is used, attach with a glue dot.Halloween Mummies 5Continue with second strip of fabric, in the criss-crossing fashion. 

Cover the candy bar completely in this fashion.Halloween Mummies 6With glue dots attach wiggly eyes and any decorations, a tag, sticker, etc., to make your mummy ghoulishly delicious!Halloween Mummies 7And there you have a SWEET Halloween treat!
