Do you love Cuban Street Tacos?

These authentic Cuban Style Pulled Pork Tacos have the great taste like those you get at the taco stands and the food trucks.

Do this also for the limes.

Slice the jalapeno in half, scrape out the seeds (this is where the heat is) and dice small.

I keep disposable gloves on hand for this.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours,  or until the pork is very tender.

When the pork is tender and shreds easily, remove the pork, place in a bowl and set it aside.

Strain the onion, bay leaf mixture from the liquid and pour the liquid into the pan on the stove.

Bring this mixture to a boil.

Pulled pork using Bear Paws

Meanwhile, shred the pork.  I LOVE these BEAR PAWS for this because they do not tear the meat, it shreds it instead keeping the tenderness and allowing the moist juices to remain. The meat is beautiful and doesn’t tear at the meat making it tough by destroying the fibers or ripping it to pieces.  You can get to the link HERE if you are interested in finding out more about one of my very favorite kitchen gadgets
