This drink is refreshing because of the mellow flavor of mint, a bit tangy from the yogurt and energizes with the addition of orange juice to help cool down in these hot summer days.
Strawberry Mint Smoothie
2 cups frozen, sliced strawberries
1 – 2 Tbl. mint leaves (try to use the smaller leaves if available)
1 cup orange juice
1 cup vanilla yogurt, Greek or regular
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. If it is too tart, add in 1 tbl. of sugar; this will depend on the type of yogurt you use. Makes 2 servings.
