Patriotic Nachos!

Blue Corn Chips, Red Tomatoes, White Sour Cream make this Red, White & Blue!

Do you like Nachos?  Then you’ll LOVE these Red, White and Blue Nachos!

Sometimes the celebrations bring on all the sweets and treats, but we really want something substantial and to keep the holiday theme going in our main dish also.

That’s why I came up with THIS!  You’re going to really like   Red, White and Blue Nachos because they are the perfect solution.

They are economical, filling, so easy to make and have ready to go, quick to put together and packing up, and as a  portable take-anywhere-food for the festivities!

Heat up my easy homemade chili that I give you the recipe for in the tutorial below until hot.  Then pour into a thermos to serve up at the party, picnic, parade, concert, whatever the event or activity it is with your friends and family.

Be safe this holiday and enjoy!

Red,  White & Blue Nachos

Blue Corn Tortialla chips
Chili – canned or my very simple flavorful and hearty recipe that follows
Condiments – chopped tomato, sliced green onion, grated cheese, sour cream, sliced olives, etc.

To make my very simple chili that is hearty in flavor and comes together fast,

In a pan combine:
2 large cans of chili
14 oz. can Salsa Style diced fired roasted diced tomatoes (gives flavor and a bit of a kick, but not too much, or whatever flavor you prefer)
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
Heat through.  Red, White & Blue Nachos 2 Directions:
Lay down chips, spoon on some chili, then top with your favorite condiments and presto, it’s the almost as good as the Eighteen Twelve Overture with Cannon –  a staple at our local fireworks show:)Red, White & Blue Nachos 3
