Amazing Homemade Lotion

This Nourishing Homemade Lotion is very easy to make and so silky smooth for your skin!

A few years back my good friend Faye gave me this recipe and I have been making it ever since.

It is not greasy, absorbs really well and terrific for dry skin.  A little goes along way.

I think you’ll really enjoy this moisturizing homemade creamy lotion; my family and I sure do for dry patches and all kinds of skin issues.

Nourishing Homemade Hand and Body Lotion

Ingredients:

26-30 oz. bottle of your favorite lotion This would work well– just make sure to order 2 bottles to make enough ounces (your preferred scent, I really like unscented)

2     4 oz. (total of 7-8 oz.) bottles of “Fruit of the Earth Skin Care Cream” (Vitamin E)

7-8 oz. jar / tube of A & D Ointment with Aloe and Vitamin E (not regular petroleum jelly) THIS would work great, purchase enough ounces

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a hand or stand mixer until fluffy.

*Disposable containers, 1/2 pint mason jars and small bottles with wide opening all work wonderfully well to give to a friend, neighbor, a thoughtful way to send appreciation along, or to simply let someone know you are thinking of them.
