Beans, Beans, BEANS – Come and get ’em!

Looking for a GREAT bean recipe for picnics, family gatherings  so you can have all bragging rights?

I have tried so many baked bean recipes over the years and I finally can say, that in my humble opinion, these are the BEST!  Our quest is over – perfection!

This recipe is so easy.  All you have to do, is cook up a few ingredients, then put it altogether in the crock put, let it simmer and get yummy.

Best Baked Ranch Beans

Ingredients:

3     29-30 oz. cans of pork and beans

1 lb. bacon, diced

1 large onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 Tbl. chopped garlic

1 tsp. Montreal steak seasoning

2 Tbl. prepared mustard

1 tsp. balsamic vinegar

1 tsp. liquid smoke

½ cup ketchup

1 Tbl. brown sugar

1 ½ tsp. smoked paprika

½ – 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce

1 Tbl. worchestershire sauce


Directions:

Fry the bacon in a large fry pan.Best Baked Beans 1When crisp, take out with slotted spoon.Best Baked Beans 2Leave about 2 Tbl. bacon grease in the pan.

Add in the onions,

Cook until soft and golden brown.

In a crock pot add in the pork and beans, chopped bell pepper, chopped garlic, Montreal steak seasoning, mustard, balsamic vinegar, liquid smoke, ketchup, brown sugar, pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce.Best Baked Beans 5Cook on low for approximately 3 hours; stirring occasionally.Best Baked Beans 6
