Hostess Gifts

During the Thanksgiving holiday’s are you going to eat at a relative’s house, or a friend’s?  I have THREE easy and inexpensive ideas to take along as a way to show appreciation for their hospitality.  All three are usable and quick to put together – I LIKE usable!!!  Pass along the gratitude:)


Hostess Gift 1

 

 Host/Hostess Gift #1        FALL CANDY VASE

Supplies:

Glass vase or cup

Twine

Artificial Leaves

Glue DotsHostess Gift 2Directions:

Attach a glue dot onto the back of a leaf, then stick onto the vase/glass.  Cover as desired.Hostess Gift 3

Hostess Gift 4 Wrap the twine around the vase a few times; your preference.  Tie off in a knot and leave ends 4-6″.Hostess Gift 5Fill with candy.


Sweet Towel Cupcake

Host/Hostess Gift #2      SWEET TOWEL CUPCAKE

Supplies:

Kitchen Towel

Jumbo Cupcake liners, optional

Ribbon, 1 – 2

Pick or decoration for top of cupcake

Glue Dots


Directions:

Lay the towel our flat Sweet Towel Cupcake 1Fold both sides of the towel towards the centerSweet Towel Cupcake 2Fold both sides again into the centerSweet Towel Cupcake 3Now fold the towel in halfSweet Towel Cupcake 4Fold one corner overSweet Towel Cupcake 5Take the corner and fold onto itself to make a triangleSweet Towel Cupcake 6Fold the corner onto itselfSweet Towel Cupcake 7


Roll the towel all the way down the length tightlySweet Towel Cupcake 8With a piece of ribbon cut the circumference of the cupcake, attach with a glue dotSweet Towel Cupcake 9Place towel cupcake into the cupcake liner if using.  Then wind ribbon around the cupcake. Sweet Towel Cupcake 10Place pick or topper into the center of the cupcake

Cookie or specialty mix

Hot Cocoa Mix

Any special treat

Ribbon

Hostess GiftsDirections:

Simply tie a ribbon and make a bow around the mix or container.
