Pumpkin Shake & Pumpkin Smoothie

If you have a hankering for something cold, creamy and perfect for the season, here are your winners.  A Pumpkin Shake AND a Pumpkin Smoothie option. The recipes are easy and quick to whip up. 





Pumpkin Shake

 Ingredients:

2 cups vanilla ice cream

2/3 cup canned pumpkin puree(not pumpkin pie mix)

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup milk

1/4 – 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, to taste

1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and combine well.

Serve immediately.



Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)

3/4 cup vanilla or plain yogurt

1 cup vanilla ice cream

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 – 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

1-2 tsp. brown sugar, as desired

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and combine well.

Serve immediately.
