Are you craving a decadent, intense chocolate delicacy? Search no more, this is it. This low fat dessert satisfies even the most discriminating palate.
Guilt Free Intense Chocolate Tartlets
15 mini phyllo tartlet shells
1/4 cup low-fat milk
1 tsp. butter
3 1/2 oz. 60-69% dark chocolate, chopped (about 3/4 cup)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp coarse sea salt
– optional Aerosol whipped cream
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place phyllo shells on baking sheet and bake about 6-8 minutes until lightly crispy.Chop chocolate.Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over high heat, heat the milk and butter, stirring constantly until the milk boils and butter melts. Reduce the heat to low. Then stir in the chocolate and vanilla extract until combined.Let the chocolate mixture cool lightly, about 2-3 minutes.Evenly divide among cooked phyllo shells. Sprinkle tarts with the sea salt, very sparsely. It’s easier to add then take away salt. We decided the 1/8 tsp was way too much, 3-4 grains on each are plenty.Chill until the fill sets, about 10 minutes. Top each tart with a spray of whipped cream just before serving.
